    I have a honda stream 1.7l and its automatic. My problem is with the gearbox. It starts very well when l shift to park the D remains showing, when l want to drive of l shift my gear lever to D for drive.
    1. The D light continues flicking.
    2. I have to accelerate to 2000rpm/s for it start moving on a slow pace and it will pick gradually.
    3. When l break l can notice the droping of one gear there after nothing.
    4. How can l change the gearbox oil.
    I am a mechanic but l haven’t put my hands on a honda before and l just bought it like that as in second hand pliz pliz help.

    1. Hello Phillimon, sorry but i cant help you with an answer, go your car to a Honda Service and see what a mechanic tell you. I hope you can solve the problem!

    1. I don’t now for Honda Stream 1.8 l but for the same car with engine 1.7 L 92 kw or 125 horsepower, petrol, you can use 0w-30 or 5w-40.

    1. I answered this question from another user, are you sure that the engine capacity is 1.8 ? Beacause I have only 1668 cmc .

    1. Hello Peters, best motor viscosity oil for Honda Stream 1.8 l is 5W-30. Engine oil capacity: 3.7 l. Automatic gearbox volume is: 2.4 – 2.5 liters.

  3. Hopefully someone can help me. I’m new to cars and my 2007 Honda Stream X 1.8 didn’t come with a manual. Any idea what type of oil I need?
